Southern Cameroonians got up today to witnessed the brutal massacre of Buea Denizens at Buea Town in the early hours of the morning by French Cameroun soldiers. Reports say these young boys (6) were rounded up by French Cameroun soldiers in their neighborhood and shot in cold blood. Some claimed they were at a popular joint smoking weed. Another, an elder aged man, a retired soldier who came out of his home after hearing gunshots was also shot dead by the military. It beats our imagination when has smoking weed become a crime for such brutal killings.

These killings are coming just a few days back when on Monday 24th, September 2018 two other young men were murdered in the streets of Buea as French Cameroun shot and just drove on. Southern Cameroons parents have within the last year since President Paul Biya declared war upon the people of Southern Cameroons been engaged in burying loved ones daily.
This is not the first time French Cameroun soldiers have carried out the mass massacre of innocent civilians. We have seen that in Pinyen, Tiben, Pete Bakundu, Ekona etc. At this rate, the international community stays silent
The Interim Government through its communication secretary Chris Anu has swiftly condemned these brutal killings yet again in Buea, Ambazonia capital. The IG in its letter reiterates her calls again to the International community to rise up now and hold Biya to account so to stop the genocidal actions in Ambazonia. The IG says, no matter what, the march to Buea shall be unperturbed no matter the sound of the gun or warplanes from the occupier.
It should be recalled that since October 2016, the people of the Former British Southern Cameroons, present-day North West and South West Cameroon have been engaged in structural reforms to restore the lost Federal state of the country. A move which has now morphed into an armed struggle with several self-defense groups in Southern Cameroons fighting the Cameroun Defense Forces in what they call, the restoration of Southern Cameroons Statehood, or Ambazonia, a name given to the claimed territory by the self-defense forces. Worthy to note that, the Southern Cameroons People are in overwhelming support for an independent Southern Cameroons-Ambazonia.
