BaretaNews is getting information that the President of the Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium, Barrister Agbor Balla and the Secretary General Dr. Fontem Neba are currently being moved to Yaounde in a military vehicle. Both leaders were arrested some few hours ago in the Southern Cameroons province of Buea.

Also, confirm reports say Internet services has been blocked in North West and South West States of Southern Cameroons

Meanwhile Tapang Ivo and Mark Bareta gave the following statement:

Operation “throw something on the road.”

All roads in Western Cameroon must be BLOCKED until our leaders — Dr. Agbor Balla and Dr. Fontem Neba — are unconditionally released from the French Cameroun detention facility.

Use every object and stone to block the roads especially those in Ekona, Mile 16, Mutengene, Muea, Tiko, Limbe, SASSE and Bishop Rogan college, Kumba, Konye, Mamfe, Widikum, Bali, Batibo, Ndop, Bamenda, Mbengwi, Nso, etc.

Pour engine oil on the road if possible.

We must fight for the advancement of democratic accountability, the rule of law, human rights and fundamental freedoms for ALL. WE cannot sit and watch our rights being abused.

Freedom of speech and expression and the right to assembly are clearly enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). Likewise, the rights of every citizen to claim his civil rights and political liberty.

  1. That is what the french colonial junta in yaounde knows best, but the arrest of our leaders is a step forward in our course

  2. u are sick, ugly ben akih, look at your face, are u trying to gain favor from la republique or are u normal, if u were around, i would have slapped that ur ugly face, what about peoples children dying, what about the psychological warfare going on, you better not talk than to air out rubbish, arrest the leaders does not change the peoples mind, idiot. You have read a little bit of book and you are so excited to malaprobe about it, what are you trying to figure out, dull thing. u just want to seek notice and look unique but no one admires, can you do what Bara Mark and tapang jude are doing?. even the most civilized country which no one can debate about that still practice what we are practicing, dumb ugly face.

  3. no one should give up, it is better the consortium does not exist in order for us to have no one targeted, nobody sent them and they should face the beatings of the drum of being a leader and a bad one in that mater, they should not take it personal because Cameroon is not their family property,” BIYA anglophone needs freedom, equal participation , jobs, food on their table etc, its too much, please leave us alone, we don’t want you anymore, they can arrest the whole NW and SW but it won’t change anything, FEDERATION OR SECCESSION and if they persist, we are forming our own gov’t and consider them illegal, terrorist wanting t destroy anglophones, hahahahahahahahahaha, we are stronger than ever.

  4. they really have gods to do this, we shall see who is going to quit?. They are really confuse. why arrest someone now when evrything has already gone viral, u know, Gods time is the best amd it is God fighting for us, these gentlemen are not his minister whom he thinks he throws in jail under the guise of embezzlement and pple stay quiet, if someone can help educate the so called BEN AKIH that lawyers are verse and know what they are doing, it would be so good. who is this fellow to talk about lawyers in that manner, so u BEN AKIH know morethan all common law lawyers or those for struggle?. This guy may have passed through school but school never passed through him. we are talking about lies of pepie in the present and the future. What have anglophones done to suffer this faith in Cameroon. Papa God are you seeing what is happening?, please come to our rescue. Hear our Prayer Lord and rescue us from this regime, Amen.
