Meanwhile Tapang Ivo and Mark Bareta gave the following statement:
Operation “throw something on the road.”
All roads in Western Cameroon must be BLOCKED until our leaders — Dr. Agbor Balla and Dr. Fontem Neba — are unconditionally released from the French Cameroun detention facility.
Use every object and stone to block the roads especially those in Ekona, Mile 16, Mutengene, Muea, Tiko, Limbe, SASSE and Bishop Rogan college, Kumba, Konye, Mamfe, Widikum, Bali, Batibo, Ndop, Bamenda, Mbengwi, Nso, etc.
Pour engine oil on the road if possible.
We must fight for the advancement of democratic accountability, the rule of law, human rights and fundamental freedoms for ALL. WE cannot sit and watch our rights being abused.
Freedom of speech and expression and the right to assembly are clearly enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948). Likewise, the rights of every citizen to claim his civil rights and political liberty.
