Ambazonia Restoration Forces Intensify Self-defense Amidst Mayhem by Colonial Forces
The previous week was not an easy one across the Federal Republic of Ambazonia. The entire territory has been in a state of war as the people appear to have fully accepted the war declared on them by the colonial regime of La Republic du Cameroun (LRC). The brave Ambazonia Restoration forces have therefore refused to be slaughtered like chickens. That is why they have chosen to defend themselves and the people with any tool at their disposal.
And so, across the Southern Zone, Restoration forces were fully in charge from Manyu, to Meme and Fako Counties. In Mamfe central, the revolutionary warriors neutralized a notorious colonial terrorist who had been noted for harassing the people across the city. In Tinto Local government, rampaging terrorist forces in their search for restoration forces rumored to be in town, executed four young boys on their way to apply insecticides and anti-bacterial chemicals in their cocoa farms. This genocidal act angered the independence fighters to launch an attack on the colonial terrorist base at night, eliminating one of them and injuring others, as they took to their heels abandoning their belongings.
In Meme, colonial terrorists invaded Teke, a small village at the outskirts of Kumba, gunning down four mentally retarded persons. They also break into a local micro-finance institution, looted the save before setting the entire village on fire. Restoration forces in this locality did not fail to put up a stiff resistance against the terrorists. Multiple reports from Kumba, the chief town of Meme confirmed the destruction of an Amoured Personnel Carrier (APC) by restoration forces. The colonialists were also reported to have ferried their casualties to the Kumba district hospital morgue and hospital, before transferring them later to the military hospital in the colonial economic capital of Douala. One revolutionary warrior was also reported to have fallen in battle.
All production activities in rubber and palm plantations of the Cameroon Development Cooperation (CDC) around Meme have been grounded. Of particular note is the Mukonje Rubber factory in Laduma, which has been completely grounded under the instructions of restoration forces.
In Fako County, restoration forces in Muyuka and Ekona were in full control of their jurisdictions. Movement between Kumba and Buea was completely grounded for three days as they Amba boys mounted heavy barricades to prevent any transportation of goods to the colonial economic capital of LRC. By press time, vehicular movement along that road was still to be restored, following a total ghost town in the two cities of Buea and Kumba on Monday June 18, 2018.
On Sunday June 17, 2018, the Yaoundé terrorist forces attacked the base of restoration forces in the village of Masuma, Ekona, after an earlier arrested Amba fighter led the terrorist forces to the location. Fortunately for the revolutionary warriors, they had received intelligence of the impending attack and had relocated from the base.
However, they did not fail to wait for the terrorist for a fight. In the battle that ensued, at least 4 terrorist soldiers were confirmed neutralized with multiple casualties on the side of the colonialists, who were rushed to Douala in a military Ambulance. As restoration forces retreated, the Yaoundé terrorists, in their frustration of not being able to get hold of any of the warriors, turned around and executed the Ambazonian prisoner of war who had led them to the base of the fighters.
About 4 innocent citizens are reported to have been caught in cross fire, due to the indiscriminate shootings by the terrorist soldiers. The terrorist forces did not also go without burning down the neighboring village close to the scene of action.
In a note to their hierarchy which was leaked and widely circulated on social media, the colonialists were not ashamed to tell their hierarchy that they neutralized only one Amba boy and had three of their operational vehicles destroyed by restoration warriors. They also claimed to have rescued four persons earlier arrested by restoration forces, and among them the Commissioner of Police for Muea, Tazisong Christopher, and also recovered some dane-guns.
In the Northern zone of Ambazonia and precisely in Babong, Fundong of Boyo County, the restoration fighters engaged colonial terrorists and succeeded in sending a good number of them to the morgue. Conflicting reports put the number neutralized at 4 and 14, while many others were injured in battle. In Mbengwi, the Amba warriors mounted a barricade at Alatakoh, controlling the movement of vehicles between Bamenda and Mbengwi.
In Ngie, Momo county, a local chief, notorious for “black-legging” activities was arrested by restoration forces. The chief had recently pointed some innocent young men to colonial forces as Amba forces. The young men were reportedly kidnapped and ferried to Bali before being executed and dumped in a government secondary school. Two persons (a husband and wife) were also blind-folded and executed in Batibo by the same terrorist forces in a typical genocidal manner.
The Amba are determined and courageous to face the terrorist forces and send them out of Ambazonia, even with their traditional tools. From every indication, the motivation/courage is high. What they seem to desperately need now are just the necessary resources to effectively and squarely face the enemy in defense of the homeland. The necessary resources must be made available to them.
